Losing a loved one can be one of the most overwhelming, painful and difficult experiences. On this week's episode, two DIVAs share their story on how they are navigating the pain of losing a loved one. Be assured that you’re not alone and that there is hope and healing at the other side of your pain. May we all find comfort in the promise of eternal life and the understanding that while death may bring temporary sorrow and pain, it has no ultimate power over us as believers hence we ask “O death, where is your sting?”

In this episode, we discuss why it's crucial to prioritize spiritual, emotional, and physical preparation for marriage. Our experiences play a role in shaping us as individuals. Many people probably went through the phase where their parents compared them with other children with the record-breaking question of “The person who came first; does she have two heads?” And the pressure to perform or appear perfect has increased since then.   It’s all fun and jokes till we realize that this mindset has followed us into our walk with Christ. We find out that we are less conscious of the life we have received in Christ Jesus and more conscious of our weaknesses and how we can fix them by our own strength.    Someone would argue that Matthew 5:48 says “be perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect” so why are we laying aside perfectionism? But in this episode, the Lord opened up to us the difference between a perfectionist and one who is being perfected in the Lord.  We hope this episode blesses you !

In this episode, we discussed on the life cycle of bad habits and practical ways of overcoming them. As explained in James 1:15, the life cycle is in three part: Desire - Sin - Death.    No one ever just starts a bad habit, a lot of things have gone down to bring about that habit. It usually starts from a desire which could be both legitimate and illegitimate, then the enemy fuels that desire by the kind of things we feed our minds and eyes with and before we know what is happening; sin is given birth to. But the enemy does not stop there because his ultimate destination is that the sin becomes full-grown such that it brings forth death!  We hope this episode blesses you

In this episode, we had two ladies in the studio share their journey on the struggles of the ASUU strike and how they intentionally kept busy in the midst of a constant temptation to be idle.  Remember the story in Matthew 12:43-45, where an unclean spirit was cast out of a house (person) and when the unclean spirit came back and found the house in order and empty, he went back and called seven other spirits more wicked than himself to come and dwell in the house, this Biblical story translates to the saying that “An idle mind is the devil’s workshop”.  We hope this episode blesses you

This episode focuses on the wisdom of submission. Scripture says we should submit to our masters; even those who are harsh to us (1 Peter 2:18). Scripture also says we should submit to our husbands (Ephesians 5:22-23). What happens when these masters and husbands consistently violate us? Listen in and be blessed!
